All The Marble – PRIVATE

During the tour, one of the owners will guide you through the ancient and modern methods of mining, quality standards, and other intriguing topics.

The next stop is the village of Apeiranthos, also known as “the marble village,” located higher up in the Naxian mountains, and the perfect setting to relish in a full lunch in a family tavern. You’ll also marvel at the fact that the people of Naxos built an entire village using their most beloved material.

After absorbing all the knowledge from the tour, you’ll attend a 2-hour marble sculpting workshop in a professional sculptor’s working space. The sculptor will teach you how to create works of art with this stunning material, and you’ll carve your personal souvenir to take home with you, a masterpiece of your own.
